Have you ever thought about if you had an organ to give away, who you would want it to go to? Would you care if it went to an imprisoned felon, or someone who is a large positive part of their community? This is exactly what we read about in this essay. After reading this I think that it is strange that we as Americans think that we obtain the power to decide who gets a transplant and who doesn't, or decide who lives and who doesn't. I think that because this is the way that it is the person's influence on their community and whether or not they have anyone depending on them, are important things to consider. I also think that one of the most important things to consider is whether or not the transplant will be successful.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Izzy. Try to think of a more creative introduction on your next post. Also, follow the format you were given; Introduction, Summary & Personal Response. Be sure to check your spelling before you post as well. If you use Google Chrome as your Web Browser, it lets you know if you misspelled something.
